Writer: Circassia TodayCircassia Today

According to new information available, the situation of the Circassian Diaspora in Syria is being received

Information received from the President of the Association Riyadh Haj Saleh following a

meeting with the President of the Association of Qudsi

"Currently, we have no security issues in Qudsi, but Circassians living in Aleppo and Homs have started arriving in our area due to unfavorable conditions. Food products are now almost sold out in stores and prices are quite high due to recent events. This situation is making life difficult for people every day. We are worried because we do not know what will happen in the coming days, but some negotiations are underway to allay this concern of our community.

The annex next to the building of our association is being prepared to receive those arriving, and work has already begun to bring it into proper condition. Some people want to leave Syria, but this is not possible now. In addition, we are experiencing great difficulties in sending our patients to hospitals. Public hospitals are completely overcrowded, and this option has also become unavailable for many, because the cost of private hospitals is very high."

Information received from a meeting with the president of the association, Marj

Alsultan

At the moment, everything is fine in Marj Al Sultan, nothing has happened yet. We, as an association, will not leave any family without a homeless shelter."
