While the February 6 earthquakes were being commemorated, the Russian state and its pawn, the president of the DCU, Hauti, who confiscated the aid money collected by Circassians in the Motherland for their earthquake-stricken compatriots in Turkey with various lies and deceptions and prevented it from reaching the earthquake victims, were not forgotten.
Hauti did not only steal the money of charitable Circassians. He also destroyed their trust in the aid campaigns of the homeland and the diaspora, which should be in solidarity with each other in possible future disasters.
Today, even though the Circassian genocide is being recognized as a historical fact, we are constantly confronted with the fact that the crime of genocide perpetrated by Russia against the Circassians is not just a historical event, but an ongoing reality.
